A recent study found that 78% Muslims say they would like brands to engage with them during Ramadan and Eid and in the past few years retailers are increasingly responding to this demand in the market to provide a bespoke offering that caters to their custom.
When it comes to clothing all mothers enjoy dressing up their children, especially for Eid and one of the most exciting developments I recently came across has been the introduction of Eid clothing lines being offered by mainstream clothing brands. Whilst still a new phenomena with only a handful of stores offering this, it is clearly an area which is growing at an encouraging pace.
This year Monsoon introduced a Ramadan and Eid Collection accompanied by a Ramadan style guide; a 14 page guide with a range of options for children and womenswear with over a hundred pieces in the Ramadan eid section on their website. These beautiful pieces are perfect for eid celebrations and parties and the guide even matches accessories to go with your little ones outfit. I must confess that Monsoon is a personal favourite of mine for girlswear and I wait to pick out a couple of dresses for our daughter to wear for Eid now that lockdown is over.
