Childcare

Choosing your childcare is a difficult decision and everyone has their own criteria. Coming from a legal background and hearing all the horror stories in the news can make one extra cautious when making this decision.

There are usually three or four common options

Family support – can be great for those that have it.

A nanny- someone who can come to your house and look after your child in the home environment. Can be quite comforting and depending on who you find they may even assist with making meals or even a bit of tidying up.

We are currently working on a mymuslimnanny page - watch this space..

Childminders – where you can leave your child at their house. You should really ensure they are registered with Ofsted and read any inspection reports

Nursery – probably the most common option.

As I started my research I have realised there are a handful of Muslim nurseries and if you are fortunate to live in an area where this is local to you, this may be an option you would like to explore

There's also boarding school which I threaten my LO with when she’s naughty
